New Cover Designs!

Want by Stephanie Lawton
Publisher : Inkspell Publishing

Julianne counts the days until she can pack her bags and leave her old-money, tradition-bound Southern town where appearance is everything and secrecy is a way of life. A piano virtuoso, she dreams of attending a prestigious music school in Boston. Failure is not an option, so she enlists the help of New England Conservatory graduate Isaac Laroche to help her.

She can’t understand why he suddenly gave up Boston’s music scene to return to the South. He doesn’t know her life depends on escaping it. Julianne must face down madness from without, just as it threatens from within. Isaac must resist an inappropriate attraction, but an indiscretion at a Mardi Gras ball—the pinnacle event for Mobile’s elite—forces their present wants and needs to collide with sins of the past.

My Comments: This was one of my favorite covers to do. It was simple and every elegant composition.

Call of the Sea by Rebecca Hart
Publisher : Inkspell Publishing

With cursed selkie blood coursing through his veins, Daniel O'Rourke needs the sea to survive. After giving up on his humanity and spending three years in seal form, he decides to give his human side another chance. Daniel searches for a sense of normalcy and a job, earning himself a position aboard Captain Winter’s ship, The Surf Runner. However, his new captain’s first assignment has nothing to do with sailing, and everything to do with his headstrong young daughter.

Elysandra Winters has always yearned for a life of adventure on the rolling seas and is willing to do whatever it takes to fulfill her dream. When her Privateer father continually refuses to allow his only daughter to sail, Ellie defies him, disguises herself as a boy, and goes in search of a captain who will give her a chance to prove her worth.

Years later, when Captain Winters is murdered by the leader of a band of bloodthirsty pirates, Daniel and Elysandra’s lives come crashing back together with the force of a hurricane. Both experts in deception, they must find a way to open their hearts and trust each other if they have any hope of hunting down the captain’s killer. And find a way to quell the raging storm between them.

My Comments: This one was one of the funniest ones to do! Special shout out to the model (

Initiation by Imogen Rose

Welcome to Bonfire Academy. Set in the foothills of the alpine mountains in St.Moritz, this exclusive private school caters to a special kind of student. Enter at your own risk... but if you are human, you may not want to enter at all.

This is part one of the prequel series (Bonfire Academy) in the Bonfire Chronicles. Book two, INTEGRATION, will be released summer 2012.

My Comments: This may look like the easiest one to do amongst the three but this was actually the hardest. It was difficult to get the feel of the book all over such a limited space by space I mean the model and the lack of background the stock image has.

What do you guys think of my latest covers? Contact me for inquires if you like what you see and want to have your own cover/other designs done.

  1. So lovely! Especially the piano one :)

  2. I'm a font girl and I'm digging all three. Love the title "Initiation" and how it seems to glow. I'm also impressed by the lip gloss - shines right off the page!

If I were choosing a wall poster, it would be "Call of the Sea." I heart historicals!

  3. They are all so different - and beautiful! You're very creative!!

  4. LOVE! I sooo want to steal the "Initiation" cover!

  5. Your covers are awesome!!! I'm sooo looking forward to what my cover for Colonization will look like for Inkspell.
